Monica Clem

Monica Clem is the Executive Director for Career Development and Experiential Learning at Edinboro University. She leads the institution in developing career education programs and services with an emphasis on collaborative organizational ecosystems and evidence-based student success. During her decade of higher education experience, she has launched several successful career programs, coached thousands of students in career and professional development, and taught courses in communication, career development and organizational leadership and research. She has presented at numerous academic and professional conferences and is a Certified Master of Career Services by the National Career Development Association (NCDA). Monica has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and Master of Arts degree in communication studies and is currently finishing her dissertation study on the impact of perceived barriers and social support on career decision self-efficacy among first-generation college students to complete a Ph.D. in organizational learning and leadership in December 2020.
