Milo Orr
Graduate Assistant

Milo is the Graduate Assistant for the Career Center and a graduate student in the Master of Counseling program, where he is specializing in clinical and mental health counseling. Milo has a varied background and range of interests, having worked as a professional writer and editor, a freelance marketing consultant, illustrator and designer. His bachelor’s degree is in psychology, and he studied overseas at The University of Salford in Manchester, England before transferring to Edinboro University to complete his undergraduate degree in 2018. Milo is interested in helping students in their career development process through career exploration and counseling. In addition to overseeing content for TartanEdge and managing the employer approval process for the Career Center, Milo is available to meet with students for the following:
- Resume building, editing and reviewing
- Building a LinkedIn/professional portfolio
- Job and internship searching through Handshake
- Using career technology like Big Interview, Traitify, etc.
- Major exploration with Traitify

Julia Young
Career Peer Assistant

Julia Young is our undergraduate Career Peer Ambassador. She is a junior business administration major with a concentration in marketing and a minor in digital media production. Julia is passionate about marketing and leadership, and was a spring 2020 member of the ATHENA International Connections Leadership program at Edinboro. She is also an intern for ATHENA Erie! In addition to her work in the Career Center, Julia has worked for University Phonathon and the University Programming Board. Julia manages the Career Center social media accounts and creates new content for our website, as well as tagging and posting jobs, internships, and blogs. Julia is also available to assist students with the following:
- Resume building, edits and reviews
- Using career technology and resources like Handshake and Big Interview
