Executive Director, Career Development and Experiential Learning
Monica Clem is the Executive Director for Career Development and Experiential Learning at Edinboro University. She leads the institution in developing career education programs and services with an emphasis on collaborative ecosystems and student success. During her decade of higher education experience, she has launched several successful career programs, coached thousands of students in career and professional development, and taught courses in communication, career development and organizational leadership and research. She has presented at numerous academic and professional conferences and is conducting research on career development of first-generation college students. Monica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Master of Arts degree in communications and is currently working on her dissertation to complete a Ph.D. in organizational learning and leadership.
Assistant Director of Career Development
Christina Moreschi is a native Western-PA resident who earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Allegheny College in Communication Arts and her Master’s Degree from IUP focusing on Student Affairs in Higher Education. She comes to Edinboro University after working for three years in the Career Education office at Allegheny College. Her role at Edinboro is to work with students and alumni from the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and the School of Business to help them identify and achieve their post-college or career goals. Christina’s outside of work interests include playing her clarinet in various ensembles, playing with her dog Mandy, and enjoying community events in Meadville, where she resides with her husband.

Assistant Director of Career Development
Peter Ostrander works with students in the College of Science and Health Professions and School of Education. He enjoys working with students while helping to educate them on how to address their career development challenges. Most recently, Peter worked in workforce development for the PA CareerLink, where he assisted individuals with upgrading their credentials. Peter helps students focus on increasing opportunity through credential stacking and professional development to become a well-rounded candidate for employment or graduate school. He earned his B.A. in Psychology, M.A. in Counseling, and M.Ed in Educational Psychology from Edinboro University, where he currently resides with his family. His personal hobbies include biking, technology and video games; he is also currently pursuing his Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.

A Hershey, PA native, Lauren Parent is our Career Development Graduate Assistant. She graduated from the Communication Studies program at Edinboro in 2016 and is currently pursuing her graduate degree in College Counseling. Lauren was an active member of Greek Life as an undergraduate, serving as an adviser for Sigma Sigma Sigma. She is passionate about helping first-year students find their place at Edinboro, and is currently working on a practicum project to assist exploratory students in their career development journey to declaring an academic major. Lauren resides in Erie with her family and her dog, Luna and hopes to eventually pursue a career in college student success.
Lexi is a member of our Career Peer Ambassador team. She assists students with front-line career services such as resume reviews and edits, practice interviews and job searching. She is an advocate for career development across campus and helps spread the word to other students about the value of the Career Center. Lexi is a Pittsburgh native studying English Secondary Education and Special Education and is a sister of Alpha Sigma Alpha. Her personal hobbies include painting and makeup artistry.
