In this role you will partner with Tyler clients, internal subject matter experts, external association partners, and coordinate between Tyler’s eight vertical marketing teams. On a typical day you may pitch a cybersecurity abstract for consideration at an upcoming conference, host a civic engagement strategy call with clients preparing for a speaking engagement, submit a financial transparency blog to an association, and coordinate a luncheon fireside chat on performance management. Relationship building, listening skills, and storytelling are critical characteristics for this internship.
Responsibilities
- Interview clients for upcoming speaking engagements and document key findings
- Create a client thought leader reference library for the corporate marketing function
- Coordinate speaking engagement logistics with clients and internal thought leaders
- Partner with the content marketing team to develop session abstracts at events
- Generate thought-provoking content for syndication through association partners
- Write and edit pre and post email communications for corporate tradeshows
- Support corporate tradeshow plans and logistics
- Research government associations for Tyler to consider as future partners
- Update association success metrics in Power BI
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or political science
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Intellectual curiosity and an ability to understand the client’s perspective
- Microsoft Office knowledge (strong Excel and/or PowerPoint skills a plus)
- Effective time management skills (deadline/results driven)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
