The Pennsylvania Republican Party, in partnership with RNC Data, is in search of individuals who want to pair a passion for political organizing with an interest in data analytics. While this position is not technically constituent facing, applicants should be ready and willing to think and act like an extension of the 2020 field program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: data entry, metric tracking and organization, research on local issues, reviewing voter lists and surveys, and creating basic voter counts. Each intern accepted will have semester long learning goals that are meant to enhance real-world office skills such as time management, project delivery, data visualization, and metric tracking/communication. Interns are asked to commit to either a 10-15 hour week, or rolling schedule by project delivery date.
All interns are able to submit and participate in bi-weekly training webinars, and self-guided resources for new skills will be provided.
There are several positions open (part time, remote and onsite) and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. All interns will also be first to be considered for any paid positions that come available as the cycle continues.
Applicants must be detail oriented, collaborative, and curious. Candidates with a solid grasp on Excel are preferred but not required.
Interested students should submit their resume through Handshake or send a copy of their resume to the TVLI Director, John Koons, at email@example.com.
