POSITION TITLE: SR. INVESTMENT REPORTING SPECIALIST

DEPARTMENT: INVESTMENT ADMINISTRATION

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related field or bachelor’s degree in combination with financial experience required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative related field, MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7 to 10 years’ experience in a financial services role required; investment or financial industry experience preferred
  • Understanding of mutual funds, separate accounts and investment products required; understanding of the investment industry and advisory company products preferred
  • Advanced Excel & strong Power Point experience
  • Project management experience a plus

MAJOR DUTIES:

This position provides advisory support to assigned advisory management clients as part of the Investment Management Administration (IMA) team. IMA manages the advisory accounts from the proposal process, fee analysis, contract negotiation, and onboarding through the on-going management of the Federated Hermes products, Institutional Separate Accounts, State Treasury Pools or Sub-advised clients from an Investment Management perspective.

  • Manage and support the requirements of assigned advisory products, clients and accounts of Federated Hermes.
  • Research data sources, compile information and develop reports to support the complex reporting needs of the Investment Services team.
  • Provide comprehensive investment reporting for assigned clients which includes researching data sources, compiling information and developing reports to support the complex reporting needs of the advisory clients and Investment Management.
  • Reporting includes legal, regulatory, financial, investment management, operational, marketing and distribution aspects of fund, client and product requirements, from approval, through implementation to active management.
  • Participate in creating, revising and managing investment guidelines or investment disclosure, prospectuses, SAIs, annual reports and investment policy statements, to assure that they accurately reflect investment style and strategy.
  • Manage critical communication of client and product initiatives from an investment perspective to the key impact areas within Federated to include the Investment Management teams, Trading, Product, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Sales and any area of the company requiring updates and direction.
  • Develop and maintain internal Investment Management reports including internal reporting to dashboards, management, databases, Board reporting, Compliance/Legal reporting to support the investment information for managing the advisory funds, products, accounts or clients.
  • Develop and support extensive external client reporting requirements to include client presentations, client reviews, management or Board reporting, to include all standard and ad-hoc investment reporting, i.e. client activity and project plans, investment overviews, fact sheet information, pricing requests, etc.
  • Coordinate client Due Diligence meetings, responses and presentations.

  • 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
