How to Get Help with Your Resume or Cover Letter from the Career Center
Get help from the Career Center staff in three easy steps! Please note that the following steps are required before an appointment may be scheduled:
- Review the content on this page – many of your most frequently asked questions are addressed here!
- Using the resume examples and the resources included on this page, create or update an existing draft of your resume. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but we do require that you submit a draft before setting up an appointment. If you aren’t sure how to get started, check out some of our helpful video tutorials on how to write a resume here.
- Once you have a current draft, send it to us for a review. We will get back to you within a few days, and if an appointment to discuss our suggestions would be helpful, we can help you get scheduled (note: Please do not send your resume as an email attachment – we require that you use the linked form as we receive a high volume of requests).
Have a quick resume or cover letter question? Consider using our virtual drop-in service through Zoom, available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am until 1 pm!
