On-Campus Recruiting Programs

On-Campus Interviews
Edinboro University offers two employer interview suites with full technology (phone, computer, webcam) in the Career Center for employers who would like to come to campus to  conduct interviews or meet with students. Employers may complete this form to request a campus recruitment visit, and a professional member of our staff will respond to make arrangements.

Informational Sessions
Employers may visit campus to provide general information sessions to student clubs and organizations, or hold information tables in high-traffic areas of campus during business hours. Class time information sessions are generally unavailable, but may be arranged depending on the academic program; contact our staff to inquire about connecting directly with faculty for in-class sessions.

Meet-ups & Hosted Networking Events
Meet-ups and employer-hosted networking events are a great way to build your brand on campus. Today’s college students are very interested in the mission and brand of companies, and it is important that employers build positive brand recognition and relationships when building talent pipelines. Meet-ups may be scheduled with specific groups of students or open to all, and networking events may take place at student clubs and organization meetings, off-campus restaurants, or the Career Center. If you are interested in hosting a meet-up or networking session, please contact us to discuss options.

Annual Fall Internship & Career Fair
We host our signature annual Internship and Career Fair each Fall. Our Fair is limited to 50 employers offering internship and career opportunities. We do not permit employers offering only part-time positions or independent contractor positions. Event registration opens in July and links to the registration form will be posted here when they are live.

Specialized Career Fairs and Expos
Each spring semester, the Career Center hosts a specialized career fair/expo tailored to a specific field. We have hosted career expos for education, health and human services, and STEM. We update this information each semester when new events are announced.

Restricted Positions
The Center for Career Development and Experiential Learning is primarily focused on career education and making connections between college students and alumni and professional opportunities. We are not a placement agency or a fee-based employment service. We focus on experiences, positions and opportunities that are appropriate for college-educated candidates, aligned with the learning experiences and academic focus of our students, and support our mission to support each student in his or her professional development. Therefore, we restrict specific types of employers/positions from recruiting through the Career Center and will not post or promote the following:

  • Positions that require or ask students to advertise to or solicit/recruit fellow students on campus (book buy-back sales, off-campus housing sales positions, etc.).
  • Positions that offer private in-home employment through an individual (babysitting, private tutoring, in-home care, etc.). Note: Individuals interested in hiring students for positions of this nature may contact the Pogue Student Center or the student newspaper to inquire about posting openings.
  • Positions that require an investment or unpaid training as a condition of employment.
  • Commission-only or multi-level marketing positions.
